A Swell Giveaway: JACEK Chocolate Couture

I am so, so excited about this giveaway.  I have known about it for a few weeks and I have been bursting at the seams to share it with you.

In celebration of my 1st Blogivesary (where I ate chocolate cake and didn't share any...), I am so excited to be able to announce this giveaway from JACEK Chocolate Couture.

Jacqueline Jacek is a personal friend of mine and is also an amazing chocolatier (and is a Mom with a toddler to boot).  In December 2011 she was chosen as one of the top 10 chocolatiers in North America, so you know these are some seriously delicious chocolates!

The JACEK website says it best:

"JACEK Chocolate Couture is an artisan chocolate collection clad in decadence. Each piece is handmade in Sherwood Park, AB, using the freshest ingredients and finest chocolate to adorn your taste buds.

A passion for all that is tasty and beautiful is what drove Jacqueline to learn the art of becoming an artisan chocolatier.  Since 2003, she has been studying the physiology of chocolate, mastering techniques and developing recipes for her edible creations. The fusion of her love for fashion and food has resulted in a unique boutique style collection that is continuously evolving. "

Having eaten my fair share of JACEK chocolates  I can attest to not only how fantastic they taste, but also how beautiful they are.  Each little chocolate is like a jewel that is almost too beautiful to eat...almost.  Just thinking about them makes my mouth water....

JACEK chocolates are made by hand right here in Sherwood Park.  If you live in the Edmonton area you can shop in person at the JACEK Chocolate Couture boutique, where you can oogle all of the beautiful chocolate in person.  If you don't live close to the boutique though, you are still in luck because the chocolates can be shipped anywhere in North America.  Visit the JACEK website to view the full selection and shop online.

JACEK Chocolate Couture currently offers truffle collections, artisan chocolate bars and sipping chocolate.  The truffle collections change seasonally.  Her current line is the Nostalgia collection which bring back the flavours of yesteryear including PB&J, spiked caramel apple and fondue.  YUM!

Of course you are more than welcome to keep your chocolates and eat them all yourself (hopefully not hiding in the back of your closet), but they also make great hostess gifts.  I stopped in at the Sherwood Park boutique a few weeks ago and picked up a couple of chocolate bars.

Before completely demolishing them one night while watching Argo (so good by the way...the chocolate and the movie..), I packaged them up to give you an idea of what a beautiful gift you can give - and all for less than $10.

The Jackie (which I ate in about 45 seconds) is caramelized milk chocolate accessorized with Fleur de Sel.  Salty and sweet is one of my favourite combos in life, so this one was a real winner in my books!

Jacqueline was kind enough to offer up a complete JACEK Chocoholic Gift Package to one of you lucky readers.  Included in the gift package will be a full collection of truffles (Nostalgia 2013 collection), the full artisan bar collection and one sipping chocolate. The prize package is valued at more than $100!

Here's the fine print on how to enter:
  • PRIZE: 1X Full Collection (Nostalgia 2013), 1X Artisan Chocolate Collection, 1X Sipping Chocolate.  Shipping within Canada or the United States.
